Open Gates of Grace Ministries is led by Dr. Raynice Starr, whose decades of experience in affordable housing, recovery services, construction, real estate, education, and nonprofit leadership guide the ministry’s practical, outcomes-driven approach to community impact. Her different style of leadership emphasizes innovation, advocacy, strong governance, compliance, sustainability, and measurable results—ensuring programs and her ministry are operated with integrity and accountability.
Dr. Starr is a profound pastor, prophet, poet, author, and spiritual lifestyle coach that has forty years experience in ministry. She strives to ensure that every part of you are whole: body, soul, and spirit. Her methods in coaching, training, and ministry stem from years of experience with those who are troubled, heartbroken, and find themselves in precarious sticky situations. Dr. Starr has the wisdom and wherewithal to navigate you through every situation of life.

"My husband and I moved to Michigan from Kentucky in 2015. We hit a rough patch and ended up homeless in 2020. It was a dark time for us, and things only got worse when we lost custody of our children in 2022 for being homeless. We were lost and in a deep depression.
