About
What We Are About
Open Gates of Grace is a subsidiary of Greater Grace Assemblies and Networks, an ecclesiastical church-planting corporation in the State of Michigan. Founded in 2013 by the late Bishop Ronald Pullen and Pastor Patricia Clark-Pullen, the ministry received federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2017. Our founders bring nearly 100 years of combined experience in ministry, outreach, and community service.
While Open Gates of Grace was formally established in 2013, our roots of service extend back nearly fifty years. What began as faith-based outreach has grown into a structured ministry serving individuals and families facing homelessness, food insecurity, housing instability, and life-disrupting challenges. Our work has evolved intentionally to meet real needs with compassion, accountability, and practical support.
Our purpose is to serve as a village and place of refuge—both spiritually and physically. We provide shelter, nourishment, and supportive services while helping individuals rebuild fractured lives through education, training, and life-skills development. We believe sustainable change happens when people are supported holistically—mind, body, and spirit.
Open Gates of Grace collaborates with community organizations, service providers, and faith partners to strengthen collective impact. Through these partnerships, we work to reduce homelessness, promote stability, and help individuals move toward self-sufficiency, personal growth, and meaningful contribution to their communities.
We intentionally build networks of clinicians, specialists, and coaches who work alongside the faith community. This integrated approach ensures that spiritual support is complemented by professional tools, evidence-informed practices, and best-practice coaching that foster resilience, balance, and long-term success.
Whether you are seeking spiritual guidance, emotional support, housing or food stability, or life-skills education, Open Gates of Grace is here to walk alongside you. If you are looking to support a growing ministry committed to measurable community impact, we welcome your partnership.
We look forward to serving together.
